Already at $23 Billion and counting, innovation is being touted from sea to sea in Canada as the panacea for whatever ails us. Trouble is, of the 147 taxpayer sponsored innovation activities it has been discovered that the Government actually has no idea if they are getting any value for the money spent.

Government control through more taxation and regulation produces nothing but misery. The latest casualty is Venezuela. Despite once being a middle class country with the worlds largest oil reserves their decision to adopt a politial system that has failed to work anywhere has understandably triggered a decent into poverty, chaos and tragedy.

Foreign Money Influence In Canadian Elections

In the States its non-stop Russia interferred with the outcome of their recent election, though proof is hard to come by. Here in Canada there’s no problem with proof that large US environmental groups did influence the outcome in Canada by openly pumping in money. Should foreign money be allowed to influence Canadian Elections?
