Truth passes through 3 stages, the first two above, the 3rd is accepted as self evident. The issue is a loss of between 1 1/2 and 71/2 million jobs to technological substitution according to a new report. Meanwhile the political establishment shows no sign of understanding the implications nor the areas most at risk. No wonder they aren’t taking any action(s) to address this massive disruption.

Castro Made A Fortune While Cubans Suffered

All the talk about Castro helping Cubans is utter horse manure as the thousands who risked their lives to escape his regime testify. While Cuban’s had their food rationed while living under fear of imprisonment or worse – Castro himself amassed a personal fortune estimated to be over $1 billion. Castro, his family and government insiders were the only people to benefit from socialism.

The Initial Rumbles of an Economic Earthquake

Trump, organized labour, the NDP and the rest of the progressive left want to get on board with national tariffs, making foreign goods more expensive for the consumer. Protecting jobs is the object even though a far greater attack on jobs comes from technological change for one. There are greater threats to jobs than NAFTA which is in Trumps gunsights. Besides, anything the Teamsters union is in support of is not likely to be in Canadian Citizens interest.
