Mike offers to donate $2000 to the Orphans Fund if anyone in the media, the Green Party or the NDP can provide him with an economist  who says that cancelling Kinder Morgan is the most cost effective way to reduce Global CO2 emmisions. When Kinder Morgan is estimated to produce 47 billion in Federal & Provincial taxes & royalities during its first 20 years!

Consensus & Innovation. Politicians and special interest groups spout Consensus to shut down debate and the no questions allowed happens to be the antithesis of Innovation they love to claim.

Billions of your tax dollars go to politically connected companies. Hard work and brllliance is rarely, if ever, rewarded. The flood of Taxpayer cash through the front door of companies like Bombardier hasn’t helped them stand on their own, instead they’ve become a chronic seeker and a regular recipient taxpayer assistance.

Crowded Emergency wards, lack of beds, funding problems are the end result of the Baby Boom generation getting too old to produce. The math is not pretty, nor will it allow politicians to make spending promises.

Fortunately big Government advocates don’t push the European Economic model anymore. Thank heavens, who needs 456 rules for towels. They still do push policies that make Canada less attractive to Investment though. Perhaps funding Government services is not high on their agenda.
