The CBC Missed The Most Important Point

I made a point of listening to at least six CBC newscasts on the weekend. They all featured the French protests that brought Paris to a standstill and could bring down the Macron government but not one of them mentioned the catalysts for the mass outcry – carbon taxes. The question is why?
