The Bank of Canada recently announcing that interest rates aren’t going to rise. That’s good news for borrowers & terrible news for savers.
 
After 3 1/2 years at these low rates, investors are having to scramble to get a return on savings. A search for a return that has probably created some frothiness in some areas of the stock market.

Warning

One of the prinicple trends is the desperation of Government to protect the status quo welfare state by any means. The IMF is on record that the fallback position for the European Union is to confiscate 10% of individual bank accounts as they just did in Cypress.

France has added an astounding 87 new taxes in the last two years, not for new programs, but to protect status quo bureaucracy 

The real danger is that they’ll go after your retirement savings like they just did in Poland.
