The fact that we have so many people prepared to ‘Talk the Talk’ but not ‘Walk the Walk’ reminds me of the Ipsos Reid summatlion of Canadian attitudes revealed in the Poll that came out……

Any wage increase for Teachers above what has already been negotiated with the Nurses, BCGEU & CUPE, will automatically get passed along to those other Government Unions beccause of what are called “me to” clauses.
Thereby multiplying the cost to taxpayers. But I don’t see many people…..

What few seem to understand, even teachers and commentators, is that other public sector contracts like the nurses and BCGEU are linked to this negotiation. If the BCTF gets a better deal then the others automatically get an increase to bring their contracts in line!
