With the blessing of the European Union, Spain sent 16,000 troops into the streets to stop people from voting on the independence of its state of Catalonia & Barcelona from Spain. It turned out it, was terrible news for the progressive left.

A quick look at any of the auditor general reports reveal sums of money spent on, ahem, projects that have no redeeming value to the taxpayers on the hook to pay for them.

Both Burnaby & Vancouver City Councils spent hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars on the fight against the Trans – Mountain Pipeline. Their excuse for spending was to inform the public. They did not succeed for here is the long list of key information that was left out.
