The rollback of the age of eligibility for Old Age Security is a very bad policy idea. How is it fair to pile on another 88 Billion dollar financial burden onto the younger generations already huge obligations, which according to a new CD Howe Institute study includes higher taxes, fewer services, responsibility for unfunded public sector pensions, MP’s pensions and of course ever increasing debt.
