Big problem – Emerging nations like Turkey borrowed in US dollars and now their home currency is falling fast – that’s a major problem, not for Turkey, but for the banks and investors who lent them the money.
Is twitter the place to conduct diplomacy? Both President Trump and the Federal Liberals obviously think so but at what cost. Canada’s virtue signalling tweet aimed at the imprisonment of human rights activists have many worried that it made things worse for the prisoners while negatively impacting the Canadian economy.
The self described newspaper of record says it’s okay for one of its writers to tweet – #cancel all white people – “White people have stopped breeding. you’ll all go extinct soon. that was my plan all along.” and many more similar sentiments. Starts at the 42:37 mark
$20.9 billion – that’s how much we’ve paid Saudi Arabia for oil imported to Eastern Canada – by tanker – all at world prices while our oil sells at the biggest discount in 5 years because we can’t get it to world markets. Starts at 30:52 mark.

As Al Gore’s chief climate change advisor James Hanson recently stated, the idea that renewable energy and batteries are going to provide all the energy we need is both fantastical and grotesque. In fact, perpetrating that myth will assure the dominance of fossil fuels for generations to come.
