Bullying, boorish public displays, trouble at public events, gang behavior or the poisonous comments that are so common on the internet is first and foremost a reflection of parenting. Although nobody seems to dare say it.
But that’s about as far as it goes. Inequality is inevitable in any system that measures and rewards skills, talents, performance and the number of hours worked.
Not your political parties who continue to support programs that hurt the poor. Helping alleviate poverty for 43 First Nations who have signed agreements with Kinder Morgan isn’t even a consideration for opponents. All three federal parties support supply management despite the number of studies that show it hurts the poor.
There is record government, corporate and personal debt . Here’s the question – are big problems more likely to be avoided with a strong or weak economy? Our politicians seem to think a weak economy will protect us.
