The BC government has introduced their “Speculation Tax”. The only thing is that it has nothing to do with speculation. Instead it’s aimed at BC residents, Albertans, other Canadians and foreigners who own a second home in BC.
Does anyone really believe that the incidence of impaired driving won’t go up with the legalization of marijuana? Ride sharing could help mitigate the damage. Too bad the BC NDP refuses to allow it.
