NDP leaders and cabinet ministers in BC have avoided healthcare waiting lists by using the Cambie Street Surgery Centre, a private clinic but have spent millions of tax dollars trying to prevent patients from doing the same. But now the BC Supreme Court has ruled against the government saying it’s forcing patients to suffer needlessly.
Decisions on who and what gets to be said or written is decending into mob rule and brain-washing.
If we’re going to take on more debt even when times are good, there better be a good reason tied to making the economy more productive. Pet projects and special interests don’t cut it.
U of Calgary economist, Trevor Tombe shocked the province with his projection on the size of the deficit in the coming decades if nothing changes. It’s unsustainable but is there the political will to do anythng about it.

How can the Liberals and NDP not see that cheerleading, even subsidizing jobs in the auto sector that produce cars and truck that account for 25% of Canada’s greenhouse gas emissions yet have nothing to say when they kill the jobs associated with the cancellation of Northern Gateway and Energy East.
