Try this exercise in expanding your intellectual horizons. We dare you. Although we don’t think many will given the intellectual bubble that most of us chose to live in.
Size matters – see if you can wrap your head around this astounding stat. Plus a shocker that has everyone paying more.
The criteria is straightforward – a stream of goofiness that merits attention on a regular basis but for the sake of everyone – we just induct him or her in the Hall of Fame so we can stop talking about them. Hint: There only 2 other members.
Higher gas taxes, increased mandatory CPP contributions, higher property taxes and of course income taxes are a full frontal attack on your cost of living. The question is – what are you getting for the extra you’re paying?

The Alberta provincial election may bring the chickens home to roost for the BC and Federal governments thanks to their insensitivity to the financial and social hardship their “actions” have caused for so many people living and working in Alberta.
