Often in elections people vote for change, though in BC’s case its likely that most voters are happy that BC leads the country in economic performance. Basically if the new NDP Government makes no changes at all, BC is a growth powehouse. Growth is projected to be between 3 – 3.5% this year and job growth 5.4% this year and next.

The uproar over the Liberal Government’s tax rule changes come from their broad broom sweeping in ever more tax dollars from people they’ve promoted to “rich status”. Now those making less than 200K a year are going to be contributing to the extra 250 million in tax dollars the Liberals expect to collect.

Finance Minister Morneau and Prime Minister Trudeau confirmed what Money Talks has been saying for more than a year….that the past and current deficit spending was not about stimulating the economy!
In the NAFTA negotiations the US Government wants Canadians to pay 220% less on skim milk, 98% less on butter and 285% less for chicken. Our politicians answer? NO. The Liberals, NDP and the Conservatives want the poor, the middle class and the rich to pay more and that’s it!

BC’s Government is going to raise taxes on corporations plus and increase in taxes on the “rich”, or those earning $150K +. Thats on top of the Federal Liberals raising the costliest taxes of all on entreprenuers and small business.
