The pine beetle and wild fires have decimated our forests pushing the price of logs up – then the BC NDP/Green government makes matters worse by increasing stumpage fees, a carbon tax that’s no longer revenue neutral and a healthcare tax on employers.
Last week banks lending overnight to other banks to meet short term cash shortages charged 10%. The Federal Reserve had to step in and provide over $400 billion to banks needing to borrow overnight because they’re worried about another credit crisis similar to 2008.
The Parliamentary Budget Office is analyzing the cost of various campaign promises BUT it can’t tell us if a party’s complete platform is affordable but maybe most Canadians don’t care.

Talk about marginalized. It’s not that the student climate protesters don’t like or care about the impact of the Paris Accord or their demands for no fossil fuels by 2030 on the poor in developing countries. They don’t even consider them.
