Terms and Conditions

These terms govern purchases from Mike's MoneyTalks ("MMT"), a media business operating from British Columbia, Canada. They apply to subscriptions, event tickets, on-demand video, and advertising and sponsorship agreements, unless a signed agreement says otherwise.

1. Prices and taxes. All prices are in Canadian dollars and are quoted before tax. GST/HST is added at the applicable rate and shown separately on every invoice and receipt.
2. Payment. Invoices are due on receipt unless the invoice states a payment term. Subscriptions and advertising placements are billed in advance of the period they cover.
3. Subscriptions. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until it is cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the period already paid for, and no further amount is charged.
4. Events. Ticket, transfer and refund terms for a conference or other event are those stated at the time of purchase for that event. Where a session, speaker or venue must change, MMT will publish the change as early as it can.
5. Digital content and access. Access to subscriber notes, recordings and course video is personal to the account holder. It may not be shared, resold, redistributed or used to create a competing service.
6. Advertising and sponsorship. Placements run for the period stated on the order. MMT may decline or withdraw creative that is unlawful, misleading, or unsuitable for its audience, and will refund the unused portion where it does so for reasons outside the advertiser's control.
7. Content is information, not advice. Everything MMT publishes — commentary, interviews, newsletters, conference sessions and recordings — is general information and opinion about markets. It is not personalised investment, tax or legal advice, it does not take account of your circumstances, and it is not an offer to buy or sell any security. Investing carries risk, including loss of capital. Decisions you take are your own, and you should consult a licensed adviser before acting.
8. Accuracy. MMT takes care over what it publishes but does not warrant that information is complete, current or free of error, and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use.
9. Your data. Personal information is handled as described in MMT's privacy policy. Commercial email is sent only with consent and every message carries an unsubscribe link, as Canada's anti-spam legislation requires.
10. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
