DAVID BENSIMON

David Bensimon graduated with multiple national awards and top of his class in the 5-year business program at the University of British Columbia. He has since had more than 24 years of experience with interbank, exchange-floor, and proprietary trading and investing across commodity, equity index, foreign exchange and interest rate markets. His institutional career over the course of a decade in Europe at top-tier investment banks (Citibank, Credit Agricole. HSBC, Deutsche) included positions as chief dealer, head of trading, and chief of staff, and he also spent a year trading on the Singapore futures exchange.

For the past decade Mr. Bensimon has published his forecasts of global markets with well-documented precision via the Australia-based consulting firm, Polar Pacific. He is known for the uncanny accuracy of bold calls — including the exact price and time of major highs and lows for GOLD, OIL, CAD, TSX. His regular series, PolarView, has consistently predicted the key turning points, including correctly calling the volatile movements in the 2007-2008 crisis and the 2009-2010 recovery. MARK LEIBOWIT

Mark Leibovit is Chief Market Strategist and Publisher of VRtrader.com and The Leibovit VR Gold Letter and the author of the comprehensive study on Volume Analysis, The Trader’s Book of Volume, which was published in 2011 by McGraw-Hill.

You may have recognized Mark as one of the ten “Elves” on Louis Rukeyser’s Wall Street Week television program where he served as a weekly consultant (‘Elf’) for 7 years and also as a regular Market Monitor guest for the past 32 years on the Nightly Business Report. Mr. Leibovit’s specialty is Volume Analysis and his proprietary Leibovit Volume Reversal TM indicator is well known for forecasting accurate signals of trend direction and reversals in the equity, metals and futures markets. He has historical experience recognizing bull and bear markets and signaling alerts prior to market crashes.

He holds a CIMA and AIF designation and is a member of the Market Technician’s Association (MTA) and the CFA Institute.
