I’m thinking that gold has established a base in the 1700-1740 area, and it’s going to take some sitting and consolidating for a while before we see some more exciting gold action. There’s entirely too much talk and jabber about gold in the media at this point, and the best thing for the yellow metal would be for the magazines and newspapers to forget about gold for a while.
